During the day I am Lara Morrow, Queen of Fun & Laughter at The Beryl Companies.  I have a great job working for a great man doing the thing I love, taking care of our employees.  But on the weekend, I become a full time entertainer.   Our house can go from quiet to loud and chaotic with kids, family and friends, all within minutes.  I have to be ready to whip up food for a few or a crowd in just a few minutes.  I love that my house is the center of it all.

Food is my creative outlet.  I either love to be at home cooking it or in the community tasting it.  Fort Worth has become very culinary diverse and sophisticated.  There is so much to share about this little area of the country.  While it has an array of culture and a world of things to tantalize your taste buds, it still feels small and quint.  The men graciously hold open doors while expressing a “howdy” in a slow, Texas drawl, people will still stop and help someone stranded on the side of the road and walking downtown at night is not only safe, but recommended.

I am the mom of one 22 year old super achiever and recent college graduate, Ashton.  I am also blessed to have 3 bonus kids, Maurisa (28), Ty (9) and Peyton (7).  They are the reason I enjoy creating the kind of home and environment that everyone wants to gravitate to.  My husband, Bryan, is truly my hero and has been for 15 years.
